Connect Midwest Meeting

The Connect Midwest Committee is a dedicated public-private partnership of 60+ organizations working to bridge the digital divide and advocate for digital opportunity across the 15-county bistate St. Louis region. With a mission to promote equitable access to digital resources and opportunities, the committee brings together stakeholders from government, nonprofits, academia, and industry to address critical issues of connectivity, digital literacy, and access to technology.

For over three years, the committee has convened monthly via Zoom, providing a platform for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and action planning. Now, Connect Midwest is taking the next step in its evolution by working to establish an independent 501(c)(3) organization to fill the leadership void around digital equity in St. Louis. This new entity will strengthen the region’s efforts to close the digital divide, foster innovation, and ensure all communities benefit from digital advancement.

Through its ongoing work, the Connect Midwest Committee is committed to creating a digitally inclusive future for St. Louis, where access to technology and opportunity is a fundamental right for all.
