Velocity & Startup World Cup open applications

Applications are now open for St. Louis startups to apply for the Startup World Cup (hosted during STL TechWeek on March 31 – April 4) and the newly released Velocity workshop series.

Velocity is a 6-week intensive training program led by TechSTL and the team at VC Fund Stakehouse (Vikram Lakhwara and Danielle Deavens) to equip first-time founders with next-level fundamentals for growing their startups:
– Conducting customer discovery
– Establishing a value proposition
– Developing a strategy from founder-market fit to product-market fit
– Sizing up your market and competition
– Creating a go-to-market plan
– Building your narrative, creating a pitch deck, and fundraising

Velocity is happening fast to ensure that selected startups can get targeted support before the Startup World Cup kicks off and the Arch Grants application is due (both on March 31st).

Hosted at The Wedge Innovation Center in Alton and sponsored by Fidelity Investments, Velocity is a powerful opportunity for founders to work directly with a VC fund on crafting a compelling pitch before taking the stage to compete in the largest pitch competition in the world.

So, don’t wait too long to apply. Applications are open now for both the Startup World Cup and Velocity, but the window closes on March 3: https://techstl.com/velocity/
