Public Policy Committee

The Public Policy Committee is a members-only group within TechSTL, focused on shaping the regulatory environment, promoting upward mobility, and driving economic opportunity for the data economy in the St. Louis Metro. Meeting monthly, this committee provides a platform for members to discuss critical advocacy and legislative efforts that directly impact the growth and success of the region’s tech ecosystem.

Through policy analysis, strategic discussions, and coordinated advocacy initiatives, the Public Policy Committee empowers members to influence decision-making at local, state, and federal levels. Members work together to address regulatory challenges, champion equitable policies, and ensure the St. Louis Metro remains a thriving hub for technology and innovation.

Whether advocating for fair regulations, identifying opportunities to promote workforce mobility, or enhancing the economic competitiveness of the data economy, the Public Policy Committee is a vital voice for the tech community’s priorities and progress in St. Louis.

The Public Policy Committee meets once a month via Zoom on the second Thursday from 11 AM – 12 PM.
