Originally hosted by ITEN, Mock Angels returns under the leadership of TechSTL as a private, high-impact pitch practice program designed to sharpen your investor readiness.

Each month, two TechSTL member founders will be selected through an application process to pitch their venture behind closed doors to a panel of seasoned founders, business leaders, technologists, and early-stage investors. This isn’t a performance — it’s a pressure-tested prep session built to help you refine your pitch content, business model clarity, and delivery strategy before stepping onto real investor stages.

Each selected founder receives:

• 30 minutes of uninterrupted time with a panel of expert “Mock Angels”

• Detailed feedback on pitch flow, financials, product-market fit, and storytelling

• A safe, off-the-record space to ask questions, test assumptions, and get investor-grade insight

This is not a public showcase. It’s a behind-the-scenes masterclass in what it takes to win over the room — and secure the check. Our Mock Angels are highly-vetted to ensure founders walk away with valuable feedback.
