Queer Tech Affinity Group

The QueerTech Affinity Group is a members-only community within TechSTL, committed to supporting and empowering individuals in the LGBTQIA2S+ community who work in technology across St. Louis. Meeting monthly, this group provides a safe and inclusive space for connection, collaboration, and advocacy, fostering a thriving environment where diversity is celebrated and innovation flourishes.

Through engaging events, access to targeted resources, and strategic advocacy efforts, the QueerTech Affinity Group equips members with the tools and opportunities to succeed while amplifying the voices of LGBTQIA2S+ professionals in the tech ecosystem. Together, members work to address unique challenges, share successes, and create pathways for greater inclusion in the regional tech industry.

Whether mentoring emerging talent, building networks of support, or championing policies for equality, the QueerTech Affinity Group is a vital platform for advancing representation and ensuring the St. Louis tech community reflects the rich diversity of its people.

The Committee meets once a month via Zoom on the Third Thursday of the Month at 12 PM – 1 PM
